General conditions Of Sale
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to stays taking place during the 2027 season. For stays taking place in 2026, the previous General Terms and Conditions of Sale remain applicable and are available upon request from the reservations department.
By accepting these general terms and conditions of sale, I acknowledge that my stay takes place in the heart of nature, with the unpredictability that this entails: variable weather, the presence of insects, birds, and mammals near the cabins, and the possibility of encountering them inside as well.
Your stay will take place in the heart of the Cabanes Nids des Vosges estate. When moving around and walking, we ask that you respect the peace and quiet of the site. Upon your arrival, we will provide you with a map of the estate showing access and pedestrian paths. Thank you in advance for your understanding!
During your stay, we ask that you follow all safety instructions as explained to you by our reception team.

I – Cabin stays
1. Reservation
You can make your reservation:

No right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L. 221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal applicable to distance contracts does not apply to accommodation services provided on a specific date or at a specific frequency.
2. Payments
Reservations must be paid in full no later than 7 days before the arrival date. For reservations made less than 15 days before the arrival date, immediate payment will be required by credit card or bank transfer, accompanied by proof of payment.
a) Payment by credit card
For bookings made through our online booking system with secure credit card payment, the full amount of the stay will be charged and your booking will be confirmed.
b) Payment via other methods
For bookings paid by cheque, holiday vouchers, or bank transfer, the booking will be held for a maximum of 15 days while awaiting payment, provided this does not exceed the 7-day deadline before arrival. Receipt of payment within the specified timeframe will confirm the booking. Otherwise, the booking option may be released.

ANCV Holiday Vouchers (paper and digital). Please note that we cannot refund holiday vouchers for legal reasons. If our general terms and conditions allow, we may, however, reschedule your stay to a different date.
- Coucoo Cabane gift vouchers, under the conditions set out in Part II of these Terms and Conditions.
4. Modifying or cancelling your booking
When booking a stay at the Standard Rate, you have the option to add a Zen Option for €25 per booking. This option provides more favorable modification and cancellation terms than the Standard Rate, subject to the limits and conditions detailed below.
When a stay has been booked using a gift voucher, the Zen Option only allows for the modification conditions provided under this option. It does not entitle the holder to a cash refund for the gift voucher.
All requests for changes or cancellations must be sent in writing to reservation@cabanesnidsdesvosges.com. The booking reference number must be included in the email subject line.
If a client is unable to attend for personal reasons, including health, family, or professional matters, the conditions outlined below remain applicable. We recommend that clients purchase cancellation insurance suited to their needs if they wish to do so.
a) Cancellation before your stay, by yourself
Additional services booked in addition to the accommodation may be subject to specific cancellation conditions when specified in these General Terms and Conditions of Sale or at the time of booking. These specific conditions prevail for the services concerned.
b) Modification before your stay, by yourself

In the event of a change to a stay of a higher value, the price difference remains the responsibility of the customer.
In the event of a change to a stay of a lower value, the difference remains the property of Les Cabanes Nids des Vosges, regardless of the rate chosen, but it may be used to purchase one or more additional services depending on its amount.
A single booking may only be postponed once, regardless of the rate chosen. Any stay that has been postponed at the customer's request cannot be postponed again or cancelled for a refund, subject to applicable legal provisions.
c) Modification or cancellation of stay by Les Cabanes Nids des Vosges BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL
In the event of an orange weather alert, with announced external events beyond our control, such as bad weather, storms, or thunderstorms, management reserves the right to cancel your stay for safety reasons. In this context, we will offer to postpone your cabin stay to a later date, within 12 months of the initially scheduled date of the stay. If you have already left your home, we will offer to rehouse you in another type of accommodation at no extra cost. And in this case only, you will receive a 50% discount on a future equivalent cabin stay within 12 months of the initially scheduled date of the stay.
If none of these offers are satisfactory to you, the full amount paid will be refunded; no other compensation may be claimed.
If your booking is made using a gift voucher, the provisions set out in Part II of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale shall apply.
d) Modification or cancellation of stay by Les Cabanes Nids des Vosges ON-SITE
In the event of an Orange weather alert, with announced external events beyond our control, such as bad weather, storms, or thunderstorms, management reserves the right to cancel your night in the cabin for safety reasons. Rehousing in another type of accommodation will be offered to you subject to availability and at no extra cost, and in this case only, you will receive a 50% discount on a future equivalent cabin stay within 12 months of the initially scheduled date of the stay. No other compensation may be claimed. Only if we have no rehousing solution available will the full amount paid be refunded or a date change offered, within 12 months of the initially scheduled date of the stay.
e) Modification or cancellation of stay by you ON-SITE
In the event of a refusal to access your cabin (fear, vertigo, etc.), no compensation may be claimed.
5. Security Deposit
Please be advised that due to a significant number of thefts in the cabins over recent seasons, we have implemented a security deposit system. Upon your arrival, you will be asked for a credit card pre-authorization of €150.
This pre-authorization does not result in an immediate charge to your account and will be automatically cancelled after your stay, except in the event of damage or unpaid charges.
We reserve the right, however, to charge all or part of this security deposit in the following cases:
- discovery of damage or breakage in the accommodation,
- disappearance of items or furniture,
- services consumed on-site and not paid for at the time of departure.
In the event of a charge, the amount deducted will correspond to:
- either the actual cost of repair or replacement, upon presentation of supporting documents (invoices, photos),
- either the exact amount of the unpaid services.
The bank card pre-authorization is valid for the duration set by our payment provider (generally 7 to 30 days). If damage or an unpaid balance is discovered after this period has expired, we will contact you to obtain your agreement for payment.
Please be aware that some of the items in the cabins are available for sale in our reception shop if you would like to take home a souvenir of your stay. For those that are not for sale, we would be happy to tell you where you can purchase them whenever possible. Thank you for your understanding.
6. Capacity
The number of people mentioned (including children) per cabin in our rates corresponds to the maximum occupancy allowed based on the available equipment. This cannot be exceeded for safety and insurance reasons. If the number of people allowed in the chosen accommodation is exceeded, access may be refused.
7. Rates
Our rates include all taxes. Only the rates shown on our website are valid. These rates vary according to the season. A tourist tax may be added to this price.
8. Children
Children's ages are calculated based on their date of birth and the start date of the stay. An official document verifying the children's ages may be requested at the start of the stay. Family cabins can accommodate children of all ages. Duo cabins accept children from 12 years old.
9. Specific conditions
Some cabins have specific access constraints, particularly regarding their height, the presence of a ladder, or the physical effort required to reach them. Access to cabins equipped with a ladder is not recommended for pregnant women or individuals whose health or physical condition may be incompatible with this type of access. If in doubt, guests are encouraged to inquire before booking.
10. Pets
Animals are not permitted on the Cabanes Nids des Vosges property.
11. Valuables
Guests are advised not to leave valuables unattended in their cabin. The liability of Cabanes Nids des Vosges in the event of theft or damage is governed by applicable legal provisions.
12. Alcohol and cigarette consumption
Being in a state of intoxication in the cabins or on the property is strictly prohibited. Smoking is not allowed inside the cabins. All our cabins are equipped with terraces where you are permitted to smoke, provided that no cigarette butts are left in the natural environment.
13. Massage services
For our massage services, we work with independent massage therapists. It is therefore mandatory to pay at least 50% of these services at the time of booking to confirm your massage and your practitioner. In case of cancellation less than 7 days before the date of your stay, we will retain 50% of the massage service amount.
14. External service providers
It is not permitted to bring in an external service provider to your cabin or the estate (photographer, decorator, event agency, etc.) without authorization from the Cabanes Nids des Vosges team. If you require an external provider, you can contact us at reservation@cabanesnidsdesvosges.com and we can review your request together.
15. Complaints
The client is invited to submit any complaint regarding their stay as soon as possible, and if possible, within 30 days following the end of the stay, either by email to reservation@cabanesnidsdesvosges.com or by mail to the address below, to ensure it is processed under the best conditions:

16. Mediation and dispute resolution
In the event of a complaint, the client is invited to first contact Les Cabanes Nids des Vosges to seek an amicable solution.
In the absence of an amicable resolution, the consumer may refer the matter to one of the territorially competent courts in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code and the Code of Civil Procedure.
17. Specific conditions – Villa Forêt & Spa rental
The Forêt 1 & Spa, Forêt 2 & Spa, and Forêt 3 & Spa accommodations (located in the Villa Forêt & Spa) can be booked individually for 1 to 4 people each, starting from one night, with breakfast included.
The Villa Forêt & Spa can also be booked in its entirety for exclusive private use. In this configuration, the booking is subject to a minimum stay of two nights. Privatization provides exclusive access to the three cabins as well as all common areas of the villa, including the wellness area with sauna, spa, Nordic bath, and steam room, the fully equipped kitchen, the living room, the billiards area, and the outdoor spaces.
In private configuration, the Villa Forêt & Spa can accommodate up to 15 people. The displayed rate includes accommodation for a maximum of 12 people. From the 13th to the 15th person inclusive, a supplement of €75 per person per night applies.
Breakfast is not included in this package but can be added as an option during booking or before your stay, subject to availability.
II – Gift vouchers
Gift voucher = a specific service. For example, 1 night in a duo spa cabin with breakfast basket included for 2 people.
Gift certificate = a monetary value in euros. For example, a €200 gift certificate.
1. Purchasing a gift voucher
a) Gift voucher validity
Our gift vouchers are valid for 3 years. When used at Cabanes Nids des Vosges for the service corresponding to the purchased gift voucher, no price difference due to a rate increase will be charged during its validity period. If used at another Coucoo Cabanes location or for a service different from or superior to the one initially purchased, an additional payment may be required.
As our cabins are very popular on weekends, we advise you to suggest that the gift voucher recipient book their cabin between 6 months and 1 year before their intended stay date.
b) Right of withdrawal for a gift voucher
A 14-day period following the date of purchase of your gift voucher on our website is granted regardless of the payment method, provided the gift voucher has not already been used to book a stay. Beyond these 14 days, no refund will be possible.
2. Booking with a gift voucher
Our gift vouchers are valid for 3 years. When used at Cabanes Nids des Vosges for the service corresponding to the purchased gift voucher, no price difference due to a rate increase will be charged during its validity period. If used at another Coucoo Cabanes location or for a service different from or superior to the one initially purchased, an additional payment may be required.
When booking their stay, the recipient of a gift voucher may choose to add the Zen Option for €25, just as with a standard booking. In this case, it only allows for the modification conditions provided (see I – 4.b). It does not allow for a cash refund of the gift voucher.
a) Cancellation before your stay:
Our gift vouchers cannot be cancelled or refunded, including in the event of personal circumstances (health, family, professional) or any other situation beyond our control. The recipient retains the option to change the date of their stay according to the terms described below. We recommend that they purchase cancellation insurance suited to their situation if they wish.
b) Modification before your stay:
The same conditions as for a standard booking apply, depending on whether the Zen Option was added to the booking, provided the validity date of the gift voucher is respected (see II – 1.a).
c) Modification or cancellation of a stay by Les Cabanes Nids des Vosges BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL
The same conditions as for a standard booking apply (excluding refunds), provided the validity date of your gift voucher is respected (see II – 1.a).
d) Modification or cancellation of a stay by Les Cabanes Nids des Vosges ON-SITE
The same conditions as for a standard booking apply (excluding refunds), provided the validity date of your gift voucher is respected (see II – 1.a).
e) Modification or cancellation of a stay by you ON-SITE
The same conditions as for a standard booking apply, provided the validity date of your gift voucher is respected (see II – 1.a).
3. Purchasing and booking with a gift card
Gift cards are subject to the same terms of sale and use as gift vouchers. They are valid for 3 years and can be used at any Coucoo Cabanes location, but they cannot be cancelled or refunded after the 14-day cooling-off period.
If the cost of the stay is less than the value of the gift card, the remaining balance can be used for another booking, provided it is within the gift card's original validity period. If the cost of the stay exceeds the value available on the gift card, the recipient must pay the difference using one of the accepted payment methods.
